Introducing our hand-painted delightful chopper brooch, a vibrant tribute to Hong Kong's iconic signboard culture. Inspired by the gigantic chopper-shaped signboard of the legendary Leung Tim Knife Factory, established in 1946 and renowned for its "Wing Chun Eight Chopping Knives" crafted for Ip Man's martial arts school, this brooch captures the essence of Hong Kong's history and culture. In 2023, the iconic giant knife sign was taken down, one of 16,000 neon signs demolished in Hong Kong over the past five years, marking a significant loss in the city's visual landscape. Wearing this brooch is a reminiscent of the city's vibrant scenes, honoring local shops and craftsmanship.
